Welcome to DoodleArtPrints.com (“we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

DoodleArtPrints.com is a Finland-based online store specializing in custom artwork inspired by children’s drawings. Each piece is artistically reinterpreted and printed as a high-quality art print, designed to preserve and celebrate your child’s creativity.

2. Nature of Our Products

All products sold on DoodleArtPrints.com are:

• Individually made to order
  
• Based on drawings or artwork submitted by the customer
  
• Artistically reimagined using design techniques and assisted by artificial intelligence (AI)

The final artwork is not a direct copy, but a creative reinterpretation produced through a combination of human input and AI-assisted tools. The goal is to enhance the drawing’s core character while delivering a stylized and display-ready result.

3. Customer Responsibilities

By submitting artwork, you confirm that:

• You own or have permission to use the image or drawing you upload
  
• Your submission does not infringe upon any copyright, trademark, or other third-party rights
  
• The content is not offensive, unlawful, or inappropriate

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order that violates these terms or is unsuitable for transformation using our process.

4. Orders and Payment

• All prices are listed in EUR, inclusive of VAT (where applicable)
  
• Payment is required at the time of order
  
• An order confirmation email constitutes acceptance of your order and forms a contract

5. Production Process and Delivery

Once your artwork and order are received:

• We begin transforming the drawing into a custom illustration using a combination of AI and professional design oversight
  
• A final version of the artwork will be emailed to you for review before printing
  
• You may flag any technical issues or clear errors (e.g. misspellings, formatting problems) by replying to the email within 24 hours

If we do not hear from you within 24 hours, we will assume the artwork has been approved, and production will begin automatically. Once production starts, no changes can be made.

After production, your custom print will be shipped. Delivery timelines vary and are displayed during checkout. International customers are responsible for any customs fees or import taxes incurred upon delivery.

6. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

a) No Right of Withdrawal

Under Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

“goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.”

As all items are custom-made and individually designed using your submitted content, orders cannot be canceled, returned, or exchanged after production begins.

b) Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your item arrives damaged or contains a processing error, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photos. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.

7. Artistic Interpretation and AI Usage

Each artwork is a creative reinterpretation, developed using AI-powered tools and guided by human artistic direction. This means:

• The final result may differ in composition, color, or style from the original drawing
  
• Artistic decisions are made during the transformation process
  
• Requests for changes to the artistic style or outcome cannot be accommodated

By placing an order, you agree to this process and accept the creative nature of the result.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your original artwork. By submitting your drawing, you grant DoodleArtPrints a limited, non-exclusive license to use, adapt, and reproduce the image solely for the purpose of creating and delivering your custom product.

We will not use your artwork for marketing or any other purpose without your explicit permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect or incidental damages
  
• Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the item in question
  
• We are not responsible for subjective dissatisfaction with the creative outcome, provided the artwork was produced in accordance with the described process

Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

10. Privacy

We handle your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For details on how we collect and use your information, please see our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Finland, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer laws in your country of residence.
